About Ron Pereira
I became attracted to art at a young age while watching my father work on an abstract art project in our garage.
I received a scholarship to California College of the Arts where I earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design. My instructors Michael Vanderbyl and Michael Manwaring had a major impact on my view of contemporary American graphic arts.
One of my favorite jobs was as an art director for J. Walter Thompson, San Francisco. It was a wonderful time of learning experiences working under the
creative direction of Bill Lane, who had conceived and guided campaigns for Ford and Kodak.
Still searching for more, I interviewed at George Lucas Industrial Light & Magic. After a tour of the model shop, I told Nilo, I want to work here! His reply,

I saw everyone's combined efforts come together and form something better than I imagined possible. Although graphic design is my first love, there is a special place in my heart for filmmaking.
Then I became a Dad. That's what I like bestenjoying moments with my daughter. But we've talked, and we're going to branch out in new directions.
